We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on ensuring seamless planning and execution of sales orders, from creation to closure, while adhering to company processes and service level agreements (SLAs). The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance Operations, to optimize service delivery, billing, and revenue reporting. Ideal candidates will have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) background, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain processes to ensure all sales orders are properly set up in company systems for accurate service delivery, billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work within defined SLAs for the Order Management team.
- Ensure timely closure of sales opportunities in Salesforce, with a focus on meeting end-of-month deadlines.
- Proactively identify and resolve errors to maintain operational efficiency.
- Provide monthly reporting on Order Management performance and metrics.
- Work closely with Finance Operations and other departments to define, deploy, and maintain best practices in order management processes.
- Continuously assess and refine processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related STEM field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in order management, sales operations, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce for managing sales opportunities and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Good work ethic and a proactive attitude toward resolving issues and improving processes.
- Familiarity with pricing models, competition analysis, and general proposal principles.
