We are seeking a Kubernetes Developer that is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing applications on Kubernetes clusters, focusing on containerization, creating Kubernetes manifests, optimizing application performance within the Kubernetes environment, and ensuring the scalability and high availability of applications by leveraging Kubernetes features like deployments, scaling, and networking. 

Responsibilities:
 


  • Application design and development - Architecting applications specifically for Kubernetes, including containerization strategies and microservices design. 
  • Kubernetes manifest creation - Writing YAML files to define deployments, services, pods, and other Kubernetes resources for application deployment.
  • Cluster management - Setting up, configuring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters on different cloud providers. 
  • CI/CD integration - Integrating Kubernetes deployments into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. 
  • Monitoring and logging - Implementing monitoring solutions to track application health, performance, and troubleshoot issues within the Kubernetes environment. 
  • Scaling and load balancing - Configuring horizontal scaling and load balancing mechanisms to ensure application responsiveness under varying traffic loads. 
  • Security best practices - Implementing Kubernetes security policies and role-based access control (RBAC) to protect cluster resources. 
  • Troubleshooting and optimization - Identifying and resolving issues within Kubernetes deployments, optimizing application performance on the platform. 
Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, core components (pods, deployments, services, etc.), and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerization principles.
  • Experience with tools like Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform to manage Kubernetes configurations.
  • Familiarity with one or more major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools
