Role Overview
The Portfolio Analyst – ITOF Platform Services & Leading Performance supports portfolio governance, strategic planning, and performance management across IT Foundation & Operations (ITOF) initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering data-driven insights, portfolio analytics, executive reporting, and governance support to enable informed decision-making and operational transparency.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with experience in portfolio management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination within enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Governance & Planning
- Support portfolio governance and performance management activities across ITOF initiatives
- Maintain portfolio quality standards and ensure adherence to portfolio management policies and governance frameworks
- Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on:
- Strategic alignment
- Resource capacity
- Business value
- Delivery timelines
- Coordinate recurring portfolio governance meetings, reviews, and strategic planning sessions
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, Product Line Leaders, and EPMO teams to improve portfolio transparency and execution visibility
- Support portfolio risk tracking, dependency management, and escalation activities
Analytics, Reporting & Data Management
- Analyze portfolio, delivery, operational, and financial data to identify:
- Trends
- Risks
- Bottlenecks
- Performance gaps
- Build, maintain, and validate portfolio datasets from platforms such as:
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- TargetProcess
- Power BI
- Excel-based reporting systems
- Develop and maintain:
- Dashboards
- Executive scorecards
- KPI reporting
- Portfolio health reports
- Perform data quality checks and reconcile inconsistencies across reporting sources
- Monitor delivery progress, throughput, and outcomes using EPMO and Agile delivery metrics
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis and performance indicators
Stakeholder Engagement & Portfolio Enablement
- Collaborate with Epic Owners and stakeholders to ensure initiatives:
- Meet governance standards
- Align with strategic objectives
- Maintain accurate portfolio data
- Translate complex portfolio and performance data into concise, business-friendly insights
- Support portfolio reporting and executive presentations for leadership stakeholders
- Provide guidance on:
- Data standards
- Reporting practices
- Portfolio governance processes
- Support change initiatives related to:
- Portfolio tooling
- Reporting enhancements
- Governance improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Portfolio & Governance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in:
- IT portfolio management
- PMO governance
- Portfolio analytics
- Delivery reporting
- Data analytics within enterprise IT environments
Technical & Reporting Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Power BI
- Dashboard creation and data visualization
- Portfolio and KPI reporting
- Strong capability in:
- Data analysis
- Data validation
- Reporting automation
- Performance measurement
Data & Analytical Skills
- Experience analyzing large datasets and converting data into meaningful business insights
- Strong understanding of:
- Metrics and KPI frameworks
- Portfolio performance indicators

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present technical and analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in global, cross-functional environments
