Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and competitive bids and proposals for construction or engineering projects in the U.S. market.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and technical documentation to support proposals.
- Ensure bid documentation meets client specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and information.
- Act as the primary contact for U.S.-based clients during the bidding process, addressing inquiries and providing necessary clarifications.
- Present bid proposals to clients, emphasizing key strengths and value propositions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure contracts and foster positive relationships.
- Apply engineering knowledge to accurately scope projects and estimate costs.
- Identify potential challenges or risks in project proposals and provide effective solutions.
- Track and maintain records of submitted bids, proposals, and their outcomes.
- Analyze bid success rates and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure all aspects of bids are covered.
- Share insights and best practices with team members to enhance the bidding process and proposal quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing and managing construction or project bids and proposals, particularly in the U.S. market.
- Proven expertise in bid management and proposal preparation.
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
- Proficiency in bid management software and tools
